Playing With Light & Ice

Sunshine (there was a little today) & ice (there's tonnes of it today, you can have some if you want).

A busy day for me. Head buried in reference books in both German and English. It's not an ideal way to work to be constantly switching between the two but while my language skills lie a long way behind where they need to be, I've got to try to find a way to make some progress.

Which brings me to one of my pet peeeves - I loathe with a passion any documentation that uses an acronym but doesn't have a glossary where it is explained. It doesn't take long to include an explanation, and it'll make reading the documents in the future a lot more understandable. However, when people don't include them, it can add an incidental touch of humour to my day. I'm still struggling to keep a straight face when I read that some people are having problems with PMS.

Not that Premenstrual Syndrome is something funny. Not at all.
