Rudolph the Red Bowed Reindeer!

Another early start and up at Newton St Loe Farm Shop by 9am with friends for a quick Christmas cuppa and to swap pressies. Then it was back home to continue decorating the house, to try and fix the tree lights that had packed up (failed!) and to start on the family wrapping whilst watching White Christmas.

Tomorrow we have a weather warning for hail and thunderstorms, but today’s weather was much less dramatic, and thankfully dry. However we did have some drama in that when I looked out of the window this morning, towering plumes of black smoke suddenly appeared and filled the sky. Our house was quickly enveloped with thick smoke that even managed to seep through the windows. Turns out that vandals had set fire to a pile of rubbish at the back of a pub, but luckily the fire brigade were able to quickly get the fire under control. In extras, you can see a screenshot of a picture I found of the fire online. I live the other side of that tree, so you can see how close we were to that smoke!

Anyhoo... All Christmas presents have now been delivered, the decorations and festive food are nearly sorted, so that only leaves me with one question: do I go for a seventh year of the Twelve Days of Christmas? Over to you...
