There's no place like Home!

After a long day commuting to London and back, to put in a days work at the UK office for a change, Charlie's ready for a bit of socialising. I am blessed that she finds five minutes for her old dad to try even more settings on his new camera. It's delightful to have her home, even for a short time.

We are being family at Christmas, but not so much on the unwrapping of commercialmas. We will wake up with a fresh pot of tea, maybe get a walk in, before slipping off to Chateau Sheol for yet for culinary magnificence. He is doing double this year to save Janet from herself. We need her to relax this year (and nobody wants to trust me to the cooking!).

For those of you that treat Christmas as a religious day, may you immerse yourselves in that connection. For those for whom it's all about the presents and the dinner, may your Christmas jumper be splendid and the indigestion tablets abundant. And if you're working tomorrow, bless you for your kindness to others.

See you at the sales! (joking!)
