Back blip. Christmas Day.

The family have not long left for their long drive home. Kids in pyjamas and dressing gowns. The youngest, 9 months, already asleep in her car seat.
Lots of fun, lots of love, lots of frenetic activity, lovely to all sit down to our meal together.
Their friends came this afternoon with their 2 and a half year old daughter, for tea and more activities. They all thoroughly enjoyed Pass The Parcel!
I played two games of Rummy with our 8 year old grandson, who likes to play card games. The others were really enjoying a Stomp Rocket game.
The basis principle of which is to fire plastic rockets into the air by using a stand with a piece of hose attached to some small bellows. The rocket is attached to the top of the stand and then foot pressure applied to the bellows which shoots it up into the air through the attached hose.
They used it in the long kitchen and there were squeals of delight as the rockets shot up to the ceiling or at different angles.
As they are very lightweight plastic they cannot damage anything.
Time for a rest now.
So here is my Backblip of Christmas Day, opening presents. Stephen took the photo on my phone.
(Our family do not share their children’s photos on Social Media)
On to the New Year now.
