Lady of Shallot
All good things have to come to an end, and so we packed up the car, but not until I had had my last walk to the beach. We were soon on the road again. Not the road home, but the road to Oxford. We stopped off for provisions and had a picnic in the car, as the weather was rather damp. We made it to Oxford in good time and spent the afternoon with friends chatting and catching up. It was raining, so we didn’t leave the house. Later the boys did venture outside to play cricket. Even later the kids had pizza and we had curry. We were all weary, and while we would usually have chatted into the wee small hours, it wasn’t to be.
This rose has bloomed and bloomed outside out holiday cottage and I have taken many pictures, so I just had to blip it, and a last blip of the beach.
