Rugby Player

No run today, just a walk to the beach.  Later we wandered in the village and explored the local church which we had walked past daily, but had not visited.  There were lots of interesting features.  We threw a picnic together and headed to Exeter.  This was BB’s request.  He has been wanting to visit all week to spend his holiday money.  We had our picnic in a park, then wandered around, and visited the cathedral.  An orchestra was rehearsing as we wandered.  It was so lovely to be able to sir down an watch them.  BB wanted to find a sports shop – but even having found a couple, they did not stock what he wanted to buy.  Alas an online order may be the best bet.  We picked up some book bargains and I picked up a couple of things in other sales.  As we were thinking about heading back to the car, someone collapsed beside us.  Tt went to their aid and we waited on an ambulance.  Thankfully we didn’t have to wait too long.

It was then home for tea at a local pub.  There had been a shower, but we were lucky enough to be able to sit outside.  A lovely ending to our Devon holiday.
