In Triana

Our New Year's Day wanders took us to Triana, on the other side of the Guadalquivir river. Not much was open, but that obviously hadn't stopped the carriage drivers who hang out by the cathedral bringing their customers over the river. We wandered around a little, had a coffee, and then had lunch by the riverside. Back over on the other side, there was more wandering and then a shared bottle of rioja and some cheese and ham in a square near the flat to celebrate the new year. Well, it would be rude not to. We need to grasp the happiness when it comes close.

Still making progress on The Siege.
