My daughter and grandsons with the pushchair I delivered to her on my visit before Christmas and yay, she's been out running with it, good for her!!!

I went to the doctors this morning to check I didn't have a chest infection, but it seems I have laryngitis so have got to try not to talk. I missed a day's walking in the Lakes because I couldn't breathe properly, opting to turn back before we'd gone too far, but socialising in the evenings was far more of a challenge. There are some quite loud folk in our Ramblers and it was very frustrating that no one could hear what I was saying... or even realise that I was trying to say something! The evening before last the rowdiness got too much and I retreated to the dorm for some peace and quiet. 

I think I need to give myself a bit of tlc.
