10 is the number

We bought the number 10 house on our street.

In 1957 a tiny deposit of £10 secured it's purchase.

In 2015 we paid 10 times the 1957 full asking price of £1,400 just for the deposit.

Scary stuff.

I was doing a bit of re-arranging in the entertainment room and came across all the house documentation, it's interesting reading seeing the family generations taking on the house and those dying. We have all the birth and death certificates of all the occupants since 1850.
