Another day, another walk

Back blipped on 7th Jan 

Having decided that driving on narrow touristy roads on a major holiday day might be more stress than we were prepared for, we had another very leisurely start to the day.  We then headed out for a wander down the only road out of Soria. 
 
We walked about 2.5 kilometres, meeting quite a few cars, and many bicycles.  At this tree, which W believes is a ficus of some sort, we sat for a while, had some liquorice comfits that came all the way from the UK with us, and some water, took some photos of the view, (see extras) then headed back to Soria, meeting an interesting gentleman in a garden.

We had a meal at the same place as last night, then returned to our apartment.  We've done a load of laundry this evening, only to discover when we went to hang it out that we were having the first shower of rain we've seen since arriving in The Canaries.
