Rock ‘n’ Roll ..

and totally brilliant, the Red Riding Hood Pantomime at Leeds City  Varieties. (Once famous for TV programme ‘The Good Old Days’ )
We were impressed with our first visit last year and no less so this evening. Great fun and amazing talent. As you can see here they all play instruments as well as act, dance and sing.
I wouldn’t normally take photographs but this was the encore and we were invited to stand up, dance, sing and take photos if we wanted to. Didn’t need asking twice. Red Riding Hood and a couple of others are out of sight at the back playing keyboards or electric guitar. A fabulous and fun night, we will certainly be back next year. The lady I was sitting next to had been going for 18 years - not sure we’ll manage that!

The only disappointment of the evening was the Arts cafe was closed. Anyone know if this is permanent? There were menus in the window but nothing else and all was in darkness.
We found an Italian to ear and then had a free cuppa in M&S just to fill a bit of time before the performance.
