Marhaba Lounge

Today I got introduced to the newly commissioned employee lounge in the office. The company occupy two and a half floors, with a pantry area on each level. Two of the floors will lose their pantries and everyone will go to the employee lounge to get their coffees, water, each lunch etc. But there's more. LOTS more...

There is a snooker table, a Fussball table, dartboard, sleep cell, a quiet zone, pods to hold internal meetings, a proper coffee machine and best of all, a water dispenser that gives you hot, cold and sparkling water!! It's too much man! The company have also moved over to flexi hours, so it seems all the things I dreamt of when I worked there have come to pass!

The workday passed happily as did the afternoon and evening. G made a delicious cottage pie followed by apple and blueberry pie for dessert! And I bit the bullet and booked tickets to the ABBA tribute band show in February. I got the last two cheap seats! Dubai Opera has a very busy calendar over the next few months.
