In the Pub

Len drove Basil and me to Ashby de la Zouch this afternoon, ostensibly for me to have my podiatry appointment. I think it's a good opportunity for us to be together and for Len to take Basil for a run in the park while I'm having my feet done.

They certainly feel a lot better this evening.

We met up in The Lamb next door, which was 'refurbished' at the beginning of the year. A change for the worse if you ask me. They no longer serve up hot breakfasts and coffee. I can't say that the staff are particularly friendly either.
