Spot the birdie.

Well maybe not yet, but at least you can see the new bird box.
One of 3 new ones put up in our neighbour’s garden yesterday, by their gardeners.

We will be able to watch them from our lounge windows.
So fingers crossed.

We have had an enjoyable day visiting Mr C’s brother and sister- in - law, and my sister.
J. had a hip replacement just before Christmas, and is now recovering well, although frustrated that she can’t drive.

Then called in to see my sister and brother- in -law. Stayed most of the afternoon. Seemed to have a lot of catching up to do.
Came away with 4 partridge which they had been keeping for us in their freezer.
( So Saturday dinner sorted.)

Weather has been very dull today, and temp. down to 2C.
A sunny day promised for tomorrow. Hope they are right.
