Great Tit

I took a little time out by the river this morning. The paths were still very flooded - wellies were barely adequate. I hoped to photograph kingfishers but feared that the floods may have caused them catastrophic harm. But no - there was one darting about (but only very occasionally) and he didn't perch nearby. I've included a cropped shot of him as an extra - hopefully next time I'll be able to get nearer.

Then an afternoon of paperwork and phone calls. The accountant is due any minute - he's been very patient waiting for me to get the necessaries together!
