Birthday Part 2

I passed much of the morning working on the Club newsletter and then it was a quick slice of toast and we were off to Ilkley.  Today it was Tony's birthday part 2 celebrated first with lunch at Betty's (including dessert  raspberry macaroon, my favourite!) and then to the pocketbook Ilkley Cinema for the 'Rise of Skywalker'.  There are only about fifty seats/sofas in this wonderful place and three quarters of them were filled with folks of our age, plus two young boys straight from school who must have wondered if they had wandered in to the wrong movie!

Two hours of explosive sci-fi fun were to be had and, on the walk back to the car we agreed that Daisy Ridley is a super actor.  Ready for bath now and then to finish the newsletter.  Ah, but first Only Connect!
