January Daily Challenge - Shadow

Day 18 of Neet's January daily challenge - Shadow: Find a shadow and shoot it. It could be your own, or a shadow of something else. Shadows look great with a black and white filter over the top {just sayin!}.

A different day today - an early finish to get home due to the weather, the roads weren't too bad, but there were the usual idiots tailgating. Outside the light was definitely very, very soft or extremely subtle indeed, which meant no shadows. Not having anyone following me at work (as in shadowing) I had to resort to the conventional meaning of the word.

I thought why not do something where not quite everything has a shadow, and here is a candle - with a graduated shadow as the light from the candle lessens the shadow, and no shadow for the flame, of course. A little processing in Silver Efex to mono and add some toning.

Sorry I've not been commenting much lately, I have been looking at your blips, but work and other things have limited the time available for commenting.
