A Cold Day for Snails...

After what feels like the mildest and wettest winter for some time, a high pressure cold frosty night has left the greenhouse windows sparkling in the morning Sunshine.

Where one might expect fractal patterns, they are buried amidst the historic snail trails of 2019. The greenhouse was pressure washed and disinfected at the end of the growing season, so they've stood the test of time well.

Walking around the village today, I was stopped time and again for information on the new planning applications, but they already know all I know. I walked the site, which is crossed by public rights of way, but parts of the route were under water as the ice melted into the wet earth.
