Praia da Falésia

Janet walking along the lovely Falésia beach. Our hotel is midway between two towns so there are not so many people to share the beach with, though to be honest there were a few more than the picture shows.
We arrived at Faro in the rain and by the time we'd picked up the hire car and got to the hotel the sun had come out. After that the day was a tussle between sun and rain, with a bit of misty drizzle thrown in for good measure.
I walked the beach carrying my sandals, letting the sea wash over my bare feet. It wasn't exactly warm but there was no shock of cold either. How lovely to be able to walk a beach in your bare feet in January. No wonder people spend whole winters living here!
The sound, smell, feel, view of those Atlantic waves rolling in endlessly is wonderful.
Even in the hotel room we can hear that continual hiss and roar from the beach at the base of the cliff.
Life is good!
I've just seen that HarlingDarling has a very similar picture! Mine is looking west, hers east, so see it as one very wide-angle picture of a brilliant beach.
