Cloud

This wasn’t taken soon enough, there was a moment when the  white edge of cloud and Blue sky looked more clear cut but OK to record the moment.

There was plenty of frost again and it was sometime later that I actually got out for a while. I walked through the local park and it was very busy with families out in the sunshine braving the cold.  I keep looking for the Dipper ( always with an eye open for a Kingfisher) but it was too busy and they would have been early birds. taking some of the quieter paths I did find a number of Goldcrests perhaps 5 with some on the ground near a small stream - fairly unusual to see them like this but it was in an area hidden from general view. One very poor high ISO photo as Extra.

Remembering Dad and his love of the big matches LIVE when watching Liverpool 2 Manchester United 0. United were good value for their 0 but Liverpool had some strange VAR decisions against them.  I am so glad they didn’t have VAR when Dad was alive all the reviews in Cricket was a big turn off for him - “Let the Umpire decide” .  At least most cricketers are honest ( I really believe that btw). I do think that the footballers have created their own problems and that’s why VAR is thought necessary. Most footballers are all too happy to accept an unfair or even an incorrect decision in their favour.

VERA recorded for tomorrow as Mum and sister watch Call the Midwife.
