Mr. Teal.

A firm favourite.

A busy day. Early afternoon took Mrs. K to Dermatology outpatients for a check up following the removal of a facial melanoma a couple of months ago. All good news. Healing very well and no sign of anything recurring.

The appointment was at 14.35 in Lancaster. We were called in at 14.25 and on our way out by 14.34.

This meant we could get to the RSPB Committee Room in time for Mrs.K. to Chair the meeting of her Community Interest Company.

And that gave me an hour and a half on the Leighton Moss Reserve. In turn this produced my Blip of a male Teal.

Another milestone this evening. A meeting of the Trustees of the Trust which looks after the much loved village woodlands. And the last meeting we shall attend. Mrs.K has been Treasurer for ten years and I have been Secretary for six. Fortunately we have found excellent Trustees willing to take over both roles. We will probably miss it but it is time for new blood and I shall be glad to have written my last set of Minutes tomorrow morning.
