Water

I think I have said before that Arnside Knott has no streams on its surface. Being made of limestone it has lots of holes and hidden channels in the rock.
So the rain goes underground and emerges in several places around the base of the hill.

Here it is pouring out onto the beach.
Water goes where it chooses as can be seen by the fact that none is coming out of the drain pipe installed by the Council.
