Sharish Gin

A lovely day in and around Mourão. First outing was a walk down to the lake where we were almost blown off our feet as we watched the whitecaps roaring down the lake. In the extra you can see the lake and the land that has reappeared as the level has gone down.
In the afternoon we visited the Sharish Gin distillery where we met the owner, Antonio Cuco, who showed us around, talked about how he had come up with the idea and how quickly his gin has become a best-seller in the craft gin circles. It was really interesting to see all this and to talk with him about many things. One of the privileges of visiting on a January Monday was that we were alone on the tour and could really get into discussions.
When he heard we came from Sweden he immediately mentioned Hernö Gin and how important it had been a forerunner in the craft gin world. He was interested to hear that we came from Härnösand the town where Herno gin comes from and is still based.
Three of us blipped from Sharish Gin, and one from the lake.
