All Souls

All Souls is our local C of E church and was built in 1851 of Kentish ragstone rubble with Caen stone dressings. The architect was Edwin Nash who had strong local connections. The church was built for £1500, mainly raised by local subscription.

This afternoon we walked to the local garage/vehicle repairers to collect my car which had been serviced, MOT, and new rear brake pads. £580 poorer we drove back home to commiserate with coffee and cake.
