Valley

I've been under the weather today, swollen glands in my throat and a bit of a fever, so I called in sick to have a rest day.  Lots of herbal tea and dozing in front of the TV; I dug out a Monty Python box set as a Terry Jones tribute.

I did need to pop out to Co-op so I made a small detour out onto Moorside for a blip. Spring Wood is wearing its winter plumage.

Thanks to @adventuresofRoj we have a nascent Friends group for this valley. It doesn't really have a name, but includes Spring Wood and Tong Park. The beck  that defines it is Gill Beck, so we have Friends of Gill Beck Valley. We're meant to be having a morning walk with the group on Sunday so hopefully I'm a bit brighter by then.
