Dead SNEAKY!

For a reason I can no longer remember I lifted this one onto the table during the round of watering. This, of course, meant I got an "Elevation" as opposed to the usual Plan view.
I can't help but wonder how long it would have gone un-noticed had I not lifted it?  Open book on how long until the first flower opens OR the last one drops off; or is cut off to try for a second spike?
