Today's the day ………………………… to be in the News

I have surely reached the pinnacle of my celebrity status, appearing as I do today, on the front cover of The Galloway News.

My fellow Tongland and Ringford Community Councillors - Donald (Chairman) on my right and Sharon (Treasurer) on my left - are making a public stand on the CC's fears over high traffic speeds on our local road.  It's a trunk road where an accident is just waiting to happen and it needs to be brought to the attention of the wider community - but in particular, the powers that be in Dumfries & Galloway Regional Council.
