Spotted our robin in the bird bath this morning. Not a very sharp photo as I hadn’t time to focus properly. Taken through the kitchen window.
It was all over and done in less than a minute.
He doesn’t seem to mind being watched by our resident frog!

Another warm sunny day, although not quite as warm as yesterday.

The water board have been again, this time not in our garden, but neighbours either side, and further up the lane.
This is the 4th day, trying to unblock the drains. At last they seem to have succeeded.
Usual problem, wet wipes and disposable nappies etc. Why don’t they call them “ Non disposable.” ?
How did we manage in my younger days!
All this in the media about how we can do our bit to stop climate change, and save the planet.
Stop using plastic.
Well how about stopping all the wipes. Floor wipes, window wipes, kitchen wipes, bathroom wipes etc etc.
Use a cloth, ( old towels, cut up. Shirts, etc. ) some Cif and Flash, and a bit of elbow grease.
