The beautiful Llyn Padarn from the Brynrefail end... but then I am biased! We fairly regularly walked down from Dinorwig, where our parents had a cottage, and dived and swam in the lake before a picnic lunch. The walk back took a bit longer! We didn't realise at the time how lucky we were to have been taken up most of the mountains around, and to have the slate tips, and indeed the whole hillside, as our playground. 

I'm a bit early but I'm going to get to T'yn Lon and bagsy my bed space.  It's drizzling at the moment, fingers crossed for tomorrow.
