Lanterns

Seven days to go...
Is it so hard to pay tax?
Our lanterns are dimmed.

A grey day, part spent cleaning the filters in the pond. Over winter I am content for the waters to be cloudy green, because it poses more of a challenge to the heron who calls for his dawn breakfast. once spring comes it will be time to count all the new fish, and greet again the old.

It comes at last; the final week. I apologise to none for marking the countdown to what appears after so many happy delays to be the actual Brexit day and our forced exit from the Union. What comes next may be turbulent, or it might be fine. If I had a choice though, we would be seeking change from within Europe.

Anyhow, these lanterns were sat on the pond edge.
