New Year's Eve

And it was a hot one - 35 deg and sunny. And what were we doing, being tourists out in KL. Breakfast at the historic cafe in the clock square (adorned with photos of one Boris Johnston who visited while Mayor of London); round the Textile Museum; visit to oldest Chinese temple in KL, River of Life (which is coming on). Then lunch in a bar in a historic lane that has interesting murals so is an instagram mecca (somehow I managedto cried out J). #2 soon had joined us. We then went to the heart of Chinatown, Petaling St and lastly RexKL, a former cinema now an arts and performance centre. There was beer, craft beer!

Home for a swim and then off to Naughty Nuri's for a ribfeast and more beer. We all went up to the 29th floor on the way home to take in the amazing view.

Good day, but tired and hot.
