Roman Influence.

I didn't stay on the sea brows longer than I needed to as there was an icy wind about.

Collage one shows Top Left lead-in from the Sea Brows.
Top Right depicting the extent of the Roman Defences.
Bottom Left the entrance from the carpark.
Bottom Right the rear of the Museum and replica of a
                                   Two-story Watch Tower.

Collage Two shows Top left the full length of the front of the museum.
Top right The two gun emplacement openings( now
large windows ) from when the Royal Navy used the building as a battery.
The bottom image shows the advantage of this building as a battery and also with the Roman occupation when a Roman garrison was in this area.
