I like this part of the city wall with it's gateway to the sea and we often visit the small bar opposite where we can get a cool drink and enjoy some respite from the sun.  I've noticed that the sea "ebbs and flows" through the gate to the extent that sometimes there's hardly any depth at all, while at other times it's deep enough to sail a small boat through.
