Tiny Detail

We had friends Al and Liz over for the day. As both Al and myself are interested in photography we decided to visit the International Garden Photographer of the Year exhibition at Sissinghurst Castle. A small exhibition which was very well worth seeing when combined with a visit to the shop and cafe for the renowned National Trust scones and tea.

Although the weather was dreadful I was hoping for a decent shot or two for Tiny Tuesday and was rewarded, if that is the correct word, with this shot of various details of wood and brick between the cafe and shop. Thank you for hosting KangaZu. (edit: it’s not Tiny Tuesday must have been a blip (aberration type) not changing it now. Been thinking it’s Tuesday all day)

On the way home we called in at the garden centre where we always buy our potatoes, coming away with this year's seed potatoes - Casablanca for earlies and Harmony for maincrop - which are the same as last year. Bought some red onion sets and shallots too. So things are starting to come together for the spring!

Al and I will be going to the Photography Show on Monday 16th - anyone else going that day? I'll look on blipmeets too.
