Looking for monkeys; CNY day 4

Had a really good swim in the morning. The girls came back from Chamomile and J&D brought their bags up. #1 soon was off today so 2 cars across to Sri Hartamas for roti canai and then on to the jungle v park at Taman Tugu. It was hot and sticky but it was really good being in the jungle so b close to the city centre. There were monkeys and squirrels and a screaming Amelia.

After we went to the National Monument. In nearly 9 years of coming here I've never been before. There is a Cenotaph and an Iwo Jima tribute statue commemorating Malaysia's warriors. Also plaques to all the regiments and services that fought in Malaya, incurring one for the Gordon Highlanders.

Came home to eat whatever was in the fridge, play games and then bid farewell to the visitors. After the girls and I went swimming (before it rained) J&D got taken to the wrong terminal and now we're drinking beer and waiting for pizza. Normal service had been resumed.
