Sunshine shimmer

Yay! We had sunshine ..... at least for part of the day!

The birds were doing their best to 'eat me out of house & home' ........ you could almost see the food levels going down in front of your eyes!

As a 'thank you' this Starling posed beautifully for me & I didn't even have to ask!

Loved the iridescence of the plumage in the sunlight ..... hope you like it too :-)

I decided to put the old feeder back out instead of the new one that none of the Sparrows will go near. They immediately were on it tucking in ..... I guess that new one wasn't a successful purchase! Maybe I'll give it a try again sometime & see!
