Wild Wednesday/Wide Wednesday . . . Chance Meeting

On the drive south to Christchurch we like to stop at the St James Walkway carpark to have a picnic lunch.  Today it was cool, showery and windy.  I was underdressed in jandals/flip flops and shorts.  We used the trampers shelter.  I walked quickly down the path planning to get a quick low angle shot for wide Wednesday.  Instead I met this wee South Island Robin.  It followed me along making wee squeaking noises.  I got a much better photo than I was expecting.  The extra shows it in detail.
Also fortunate that I can be part of the 200th Wild Wednesday challenge. The trees here are Silver Beech which are lovely to walk through.  Thank you Caileach and RockArea.
