Left work this evening looking forward to getting home.

Not so fast though. A flat tyre meant a call to the AA. All very efficient using a mobile phone these days. And the AA chap arrived in reasonable time - he lives 5 minutes away. Enjoys his job. Mine was his first call of his day. The late shift I guess.

So, he took the space saver tyre from the boot, to replace the punctured tyre ( at least my car has a spare, many modern cars do not have one). I am instructed to not drive at more than 50mph. Easy on the under construction “smart” motorway.

Tomorrow first thing . It has to be Kwikfit to get the tyre repaired, or more likely replaced.
