Panama Canal

Today we did a full transit of the Panama Canal which took from 06:30am until after 5pm (with an added delay due to the offloading of yet another passenger due to a medical emergency!). With the average age of passengers on this cruise standing at 70, I guess it’s quite common for age related issues to crop up. 
My main blip is us just coming into the Mireflores Locks at the start of the day with another ship coming down them on the other side. 
I have put a couple of other shots in extras just because I liked them. 

We managed to see over 20 bird species from the ship with our binoculars plus a crocodile sunning himself after the Gatun Lock. 

It was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
