Always expect...

...the unexpected!  LOL. 
Tom and I went for a walk along the beach this morning, and while it was brisk, it wasn't all that bad for the beginning of February. We heard on the news yesterday that the temperature was 83 degrees higher than it was last year! Some of you may remember our "polar vortex" that came last January and stayed for awhile, causing temperatures of 40-55 degrees BELOW zero near the Lake. This year it's been unusually "warm" (i.e. in the 30's F) most of the winter with very little snow. Lots of geese, ducks and seagulls all mingling together on the beach & in the water today. They're probably enjoying this weather too. Thanks to admirer for hosting SillySaturday, and hope you're all having a great weekend. :))
