Exploring the Great Mammoth Bread Caves

When we had breakfast on this morning, I noticed that there was a huge hollow spot in the middle of the French bread. So of course, the Crittergators, those crazy, adventurous spelunkers, decided they had to investigate what we have come to refer to as the Great Mammoth Bread Caves.

In the interests of safety - for nobody knows what scary creatures might LIVE inside this cave! - we sent the Crittergators in one by one, always with one of them posted outside as a guard in case of a possible problem. You may see a closer look at the cave in the extra photos area.

We looked for cave paintings (a la Lascaux and Altamira) but there were none to be found, at least not in these front portions of the cave. But who knows, there may be some of them in the unexplored nether regions of the caves - an adventure we must leave for another day!

The soundtrack song HAS to be by the 70s group Bread. Here is one I like and I hope you like it too: Everything I Own.
