ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME DEAR??

Went to Mum's in Morecambe today.  The journey over on the M6 (just two junctions) was wet, very grey and dreich but otherwise unremarkable.   After Carnforth though the weather brightened a little.  It had stopped raining and just was grey rather than very misty.

Had a good catch up with Mum, some lunch and then headed back home on the A6.

This time we came via Morecambe's lovely promenade, but couldn't see anything over The Bay so carried on.  We encountered 3 different sets of traffic lights due to road works - all three way controlled and we got to them just as they turned red of course!!  Still we were in no hurry to go anywhere so just watched the world go by

We pulled into the usual layby in Milnthorpe - this time a large herd of dear were sat above the river just in front the attractive outhouse building and under the trees.

I took a few shots with the new lens and thought this was the best for sharing.  I couldn't get them to separate for me, or get a lone stag on his own unfortunately, but most of them were watching me intently!!?? (a long way down the hill and behind a large wall).

Now to catch up on your blips, as I didn't view any yesterday I'm afraid, will do that now.

Thank you for dropping by, take care, stay safe and see you all tomorrow.
