Hellebore

Usual Sunday routine to day, with the required roast dinner. Lamb this week, delicious as usual. It will last us a few days yet. I also made a gingerbread. I have the Mah-jong Group coming here on Tuesday evening, and my gingerbread is better when it is a few days old.
The garden still looks grey and dreary until you look closer and then there are treasures to be found. I have a large clump of ordinary white hellebores, and close alongside is this pretty purple. I must look out for some of the exotic ones other blippers are posting so I have more variety next year.
