Thali

We were out today for two special family celebrations. Granny Sue has a special birthday on Tuesday and Grace has her birthday next Saturday.
We took the bus again down to Montpellier, a ‘village’ just off Gloucester Rd. and had an Indian Thali. No dietary issues unlike the Dim Sum we often have around Chinese New Year.
John’s brother and family were also there and we all enjoyed our meals. A Thali has several little dishes with a choice of the main dish. I chose paneer  and the young ones had mini chicken Thalis which were made up of small dishes of chicken, rice, yoghurt and banana.
They didn’t mind that we took along our own chocolate cake, gf ordered from M & S, which we all agreed was delicious. Eda. certainly enjoyed it and got quite upset when the remainder was packed away in the box to take home - extra

Quite tired now, Eda must be as she went swimming this morning with daddy. Chris has left to drive home and I’m staying till later in the week and going back on the train.
Another fun day with Eda tomorrow.
