Eda and friends at the farm

Today is ‘Mum’day. Some of Grace’s mum friends, all of whom met at local am dram groups, have Monday free from work and they meet together with their little ones for outings and lunch. Today we went to Grimsbury Farm on the outskirts of Bristol. Here is Eda with two friends she has grown up with, Charlie and Anneka and their mums. Little Freddie is hidden in the pram.
It was very, very muddy and luckily Grace was able to lend me some wellies. We bought buckets of grass pellets and bird food. We saw pigs, who were a bit scary when squealing and fighting over their food but the baby ones were sweet. We visited rabbits and guinea pigs before moving on to the cows and sheep. The sheep were the easiest to feed. We also saw some ducks, geese and ponies. Before leaving there was a visit to the playground which everyone enjoyed. Not particularly sunny but not windy or cold either so not a bad day for an outside visit.
Lunch was a fab home made curry (I’ve got the recipe!) at Elisa and Anneka’s house. Anneka is having a baby sister next month. Before coming home we took a walk around the nearby cemetery! Plenty of room for them to run about!
I’m always made most welcome by these lovely ladies and it’s great to see these little ones develop and change as they grow.
