Our Castle

Coming back from Évora tonight (where we spent an inordinate amount of time in Akí, a building supplies shop Mike likes), we missed our usual turning, and saw our castle lit up from the roundabout that is the main way into town. Mike doesn't like stopping there, though traffic is minimal, but allowed me to get this shot. Might as well enjoy it as long as it lasts.

Apparently, the festival was still going today, so the Post Office lady said, with the free giving out of meat from the bulls killed after (not in) the bullfight on Saturday. Would like to see that, maybe next year...

Now to get on with reading a book in Spanish about Cardinal Newman that Padre Mário sent me to read... must be about 40 years since I last read a book in Spanish.

Gratefuls:
- sick headache I've had all day pretty much gone, was it from the pork cheeks I ate last night??
- two satisfying FTs with Paul and Julia, love knowing they are OK
- Deb's increasing skill as a photographer, and my fun granddaughter
