Wide Wednesday - Something New

This poor tree was cut back very severely back in early December and its finally started to sprout again.  All the lovely new leaves are a promise of some extra shade in the future ;;o)lol. I have put a shot of it in extras from when it was first cut back but for some reason the image has gone in sideways and I cant seem to change that, anyway its just for comparison! :o) Ahh, now its up the right way whew!!!

Also in extras is a new flower on my night flowering cactus yay!  During the winter there was a small possum I think (never actually saw it) which would come during the night and eat only the night flowering cactus plants!!

It was so frustrating and I was replanting the leaves which would be all over the ground each morning into any available pot!  Now I have lots and lots of plants and so far this is the only flower! Needless to say it drove Toto and me crazy for a couple of weeks!!
