Tromso Sunset

This morning we woke up to cars with snow piled high on their rooves, and the roads deep in snow.  Overnight we must have had about a foot or so, and by nine o’clock the snow piles had doubled in size (see extra).

By this afternoon the temperature had risen to about 3 C, and a thaw had set in accompanied by some blue patches in the sky, so fingers crossed for tonight’s possible Northern Lights sightings.

The blip is of the beautiful sunset we were treated to mid afternoon.  I took umpteen shots as it went down, this one being my favourite.

Formal dinner tonight, so best bib and tucker to the fore
