FaceTime with Stein

I have mentioned a Stein before. He is a Chinese Student who attended St Andrews and gained his Master’s Degree. We became his friends who could offer him a glimpse of Scottish life away from the University.

This morning we chatted with him from his parent’s home in Shanghai.

Naturally, the subject of the Caronavirus came up. It is quite apparent that the Chinese authorities are taking the spread of the disease very seriously.

Virtually everyone is being ordered to stay indoors. Only key workers are able to go to work and they must wear face masks at all times.

Stein was very chatty, but the family pooch is not. No one is allowed to take dogs for a walk and they must be kept indoors which leads to the creation of doggy toilet facilities.
