Nassington

We drove down to Wixams (Bedford) today (dropping Finlay off in Doncaster) to see Mrs madwill’s mum.

After coffee we went out for lunch, (Mrs madwill’s sister and husband came along too), then back to Wixams for more coffee.

Mid afternoon we set off back north for our overnight stay in a pub in Nassington. The view of the river Nene is from the garden at the rear….not bad in the sunlight. Looks fabulous large.

We did stop at Nene Valley Railway (Wansford) to meet Helga (extra) and to enjoy the architecture (extra)!

Had a walk around the village to work up an appetite for dinner….

Journey home tomorrow promises to be interesting with Storm Ciara blowing through…not really looking forward to that.
